2. Technologies Used on HealthyHers
Necessary preference storage
HealthyHers stores a record named healthyhers-cookie-notice-v1 in local storage after you dismiss the homepage notice. It prevents the same notice from appearing on every homepage visit and does not itself create an advertising profile.
Analytics
Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie to distinguish visits and measure aggregate use. Google Analytics may receive IP address, page URL, browser and device data, approximate location, referral information, and interactions. Cookie duration is controlled by Google Analytics settings and may be refreshed when you return. Google states that its default analytics cookie expiration can be up to two years.
Experience and engagement
The Grow.me script may use cookies, local storage, or identifiers to provide favorites and related engagement functions. The exact names and durations can change as the provider updates its service.
Embedded video and social links
Some articles include YouTube videos. YouTube may receive technical data and use cookies or local storage when an embedded player loads or you interact with it. Pinterest, Facebook, X, and other sharing links are third-party destinations; opening them allows those platforms to process information under their own policies.
Hosting and security
Our hosting and security infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies or technical identifiers to deliver pages, balance traffic, detect abuse, and protect the site. These technologies may operate without optional consent where permitted because the requested service cannot be delivered securely without them.
Google services
When Google services are active on HealthyHers, your browser may automatically send information to Google, including the page URL, IP address, device and browser information, and cookie or local-storage identifiers. HealthyHers may use Google AdSense or another advertising provider after acceptance. Advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use local storage, use web beacons, receive IP addresses, and process device, browser, page activity, approximate location, and browsing information to select ads, limit ad frequency, personalize ads where permitted, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, detect invalid traffic, and protect ad systems.
Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to HealthyHers or other websites and apps. Google may use IP address and automatically transmitted information for ad measurement, personalization where permitted, general location, security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection. Before regulated advertising is activated, HealthyHers will configure the consent solution required by the relevant provider and jurisdiction. Google requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework for personalized ad serving in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. This custom site preference panel is not represented as a substitute for that certified advertising CMP.

The homepage notice explains the site's current use of cookies and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies using browser controls and use the provider opt-out resources below.
